This Privacy Policy explains how U Provod ("U Provod", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information when you use our website, follow artists or events, receive event notifications, or otherwise interact with us.
We aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate U Provod. We do not sell tickets, process payments, operate advertising profiles, or sell personal information.

2. Scope of this policy
This Policy applies to personal information processed through U Provod's website, notification system and related communications.
It does not apply to websites, ticket sellers, venues, artists, promoters, social networks or other third-party services that we may link to. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and are independently responsible for their processing.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
U Provod does not require a conventional user account. When you follow an artist, performer, event or similar subject, we may collect:
- Email address — used to confirm your request, send requested event notifications and provide manage/unsubscribe functionality.
- Artists, performers or subjects you follow — used to determine which event announcements may interest you.
- Home city or selected location — used to determine the geographical area relevant to your notifications.
- Travel radius — used to decide whether an event is sufficiently close to the location you selected.
- Consent and confirmation records — including the date and time of confirmation and, where recorded, the IP address associated with confirmation. These records help us demonstrate that notification requests were genuinely made and confirmed.
- Confirmation and management identifiers — random security tokens used to confirm, manage or unsubscribe your follow preferences without creating a password-based account.
- Communications with us — if you contact us, we may retain your email address, correspondence and any information you voluntarily provide.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers and infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information when you access U Provod, including:
- IP address;
- date and time of a request;
- requested URL or resource;
- HTTP status and technical request information;
- browser or device information made available through standard HTTP requests; and
- security, error and abuse-prevention information.
We use this information for operating, securing, diagnosing and protecting the service, rather than for behavioural advertising.
3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect
U Provod does not ask you to provide payment card information, government identification, precise GPS location, health information, biometric information, political opinions, religious beliefs or similar sensitive information.
U Provod does not process ticket payments or purchases.

5. Email notifications and consent
We use a confirmation process before activating email follows. A follow is not treated as confirmed merely because someone entered an email address into the website.
The confirmation process also helps protect people against another person registering their email address without permission.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Every notification email provides an unsubscribe or management mechanism, and you can also manage your preferences through your profile page.
Withdrawal of consent does not make processing that occurred before withdrawal unlawful, and we may retain a limited record where reasonably necessary to demonstrate that we complied with an unsubscribe request, consent requirement or other legal obligation.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
U Provod does not use cookies for behavioural advertising or cross-site advertising.

Where applicable law requires consent before a non-essential cookie or similar technology is stored or accessed, we will request that consent before activating that technology.
7. Service providers and other recipients
We may use companies that process limited personal information on our behalf in order to operate U Provod. Depending on our current infrastructure, these may include:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — for operating the website, database, network and backups.
- Email delivery provider: — for sending confirmation messages and event notifications.
- Translation provider — only when you activate an optional external translation service.
- Professional advisers — such as lawyers, accountants or security professionals where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law — for example where disclosure is required by a valid legal process or is reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or others against fraud, abuse or security threats.
Our service providers are permitted to process personal information only for the purposes for which it was provided to them and subject to appropriate contractual and legal safeguards where required.
8. International transfers
U Provod and some of its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.
When applicable law restricts international transfers of personal information, we use an available lawful transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision, contractual protections including applicable Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally permitted mechanism.

9. How long we keep information
We do not intend to keep personal information indefinitely. Retention depends on why the information is held.
- Active follows: retained while the follow remains active or until it is deleted or no longer required.
- Unconfirmed follow requests: generally deleted or anonymised after 30 days if confirmation is not completed.
- Server and security logs: ordinarily retained for up to 30 days, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, security incidents or legal claims.
- Consent and unsubscribe records: may be retained after a follow ends for up to 5 years where reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance, honour suppression/unsubscribe requests, resolve disputes or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Privacy requests and related correspondence: may be retained for up to 3 years where reasonably necessary to document our response and comply with law.
- Backups: deleted information may remain temporarily in rotating backups until those backups are overwritten according to our normal backup cycle.
We may keep information longer where applicable law requires it or where reasonably necessary for an ongoing dispute, investigation or legal proceeding.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which privacy law applies, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:
- know whether we process personal information about you;
- request access to your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- withdraw consent;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability of information where applicable;
- receive information about recipients or categories of recipients;
- receive information about applicable international-transfer safeguards;
- appeal or complain where applicable law provides such a right; and
- lodge a complaint with the competent privacy or data-protection authority.
These rights are subject to exceptions and limitations under applicable law. For example, we may need to retain limited information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We may need to verify that a request relates to you before disclosing, changing or deleting personal information. We will request only the information reasonably necessary for verification.
We aim to respond within one month of receiving a request, as required by the GDPR.
When we erase your information at your request, we delete your email address, home city, consent record, follows and notification history outright. We keep one non-identifying record: an irreversible cryptographic hash of the address, the date, and how many rows were removed. We cannot recover your address from it. We retain it only so that we can confirm to you, or to a supervisory authority, that the request was carried out.
11. EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Where the EU GDPR, UK GDPR or Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies, you may have additional rights provided by those laws.
For processing based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. For processing based on legitimate interests, you may have a right to object depending on the circumstances.
You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your country or region.
12. United States privacy disclosures
Certain US state privacy laws apply only to organisations that meet specified jurisdictional and business thresholds. Where such a law applies to U Provod, residents may exercise the rights granted by that law.
For purposes of applicable US privacy laws, the categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers such as email and IP address, internet or electronic activity information, approximate location information based on a city selected by you, and preference information relating to artists or events you choose to follow.
We obtain this information primarily from you and from your interaction with our service.
U Provod does not sell personal information.
U Provod does not use personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated services.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information concerning children.
13. Brazil and other jurisdictions
If Brazilian data-protection law (LGPD) applies, you may have rights including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion where applicable, portability, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent.
Privacy laws in other jurisdictions may provide additional or different rights. Where those laws apply to our processing, we will respect the rights and obligations they impose.
14. Automated decisions and profiling
U Provod may automatically compare the artists or subjects you follow with event locations and your selected travel radius in order to decide which event notifications to send.
This matching is used only to provide the notification service you requested. We do not use it to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you, such as decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing or eligibility for essential services.
15. Children
U Provod is intended for a general audience and is not designed as a service directed specifically to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental or guardian consent would be required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to applicable law, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
16. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no internet service, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping confirmation and management links private, because possession of a valid management link may allow someone to manage the associated follow preferences.
17. Data breaches
If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate it and, where applicable law requires, notify the appropriate supervisory authority and/or affected individuals within the legally required timeframe.
18. Third-party links
U Provod may link to websites operated by artists, venues, organisers, ticket sellers, mapping services or other third parties.
Following such a link takes you to a service controlled by that third party. We are not responsible for that third party's privacy practices, and you should review its privacy policy before providing personal information.
19. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, providers, practices or legal obligations change.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page identifies the version currently in effect. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request new consent before making a material change that affects processing based on consent.
